Travelling by horse and carriage and accompanied by a local guide for expert advice and local knowledge we follow ‘Route of Ramparts’ on a circumnavigation of Marrakech Medina.

Our suggested route during this 3-hour tour allows time for lots of photo stops and to make optional visits to the Marrakech tanneries and Majorelle Gardens. The tour is gently-paced and relaxing. It offers a different perspective on Marrakech – we see so much more than we would on foot or in a car in the time available.

The route can be tailored to include any particular interests, or just follow our tried and tested route which heads anti-clockwise around the medina, covering approx. 20 km. Each caleche can sit up to 5 people (including our guide). Larger groups travel in several caleches.
