Discover real Berber village life far away from the commercialisation seen in other High
Atlas valleys such as Ourika and Imlil. Enjoy an authentic Atlas Mountain experience in a truly spectacular setting. In the Azzaden Valley we follow a trail through orchards to the Berber village of Torort passing walnut and almond trees, olive groves and numerous fruit trees including apple, peach, plum, apricots, quince, lemon and fig.

We walk to the river and enjoy a demonstration of how to make Berber bread. We’ll also learn about day to day village life. Lunch is served at Kasbah Africa, a stunning nature retreat built on the slopes of the Azzaden Valley on the bend of a river. At the Kasbah there is a pool with a wonderful view and plenty of areas to laze and enjoy peace and tranquillity. If you are still feeling active there is the option of a short walk to Torort village before we return to Marrakech.
